Job summary

AeroVect is transforming ground handling with autonomy, delivering safety-integrated software and hardware for autonomous operations used by major airlines and service providers. We are seeking a Senior Safety Engineer to lead quantitative safety analyses, derive safety requirements, and collaborate across systems, software, robotics, and test teams.

You'll work under Head of Safety to support safety case artifacts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in safety engineering for autonomous or safety-critical systems.
• Experience with automotive ISO 26262, DO-178C/DO-254, or IEC 61508.
• Proven ability to derive safety requirements and perform hazard analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative hardware safety analyses including FMEDA and PMHF.
• Assess hardware components and compute fault rates per standard methods.
• Derive hardware safety requirements for redundant architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety requirements are verifiable.
