Job summary

AeroVect is transforming ground handling with autonomy and is building a scalable autonomous vehicle system. The role focuses on design, analysis, and verification of subsystems within our autonomous vehicle architecture.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy autonomous driving solutions, define KPIs, and build data pipelines for verification and validation. A strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and mentorship is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace or related field.
• 4+ years of experience working on autonomous or safety-critical systems.
• Hands-on systems engineering experience (V-Model, requirements, traceability, V&V).
• Basic proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with robotics or autonomous vehicles with safety-critical components.
• Exposure to functional safety and SOTIF concepts.
• Strong communication of technical issues to diverse audiences.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to engage deeply.

Responsibilities

• Own design, analysis, and verification & validation of subsystems within our autonomous vehicle system architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy autonomous driving systems.
• Define and track KPIs to support data-driven engineering and system performance.
• Build data collection and analysis pipelines for verification & validation processes.
• Author and maintain requirements documentation, traceability, and system architecture artifacts.
• Define system behaviors for critical safety scenarios and contribute to robust designs.
• Surface risks early and coordinate solutions with involved teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering practices.
• Be open to travel up to 25%.
