Envision Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior Hardware Failure Analysis Engineer to lead root-cause investigations across electrical, optical, mechanical, and firmware domains in Mountain View, CA. The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, Python/SQL dashboards, and collaboration with manufacturing partners.

You will manage failure tickets, analyze logs, and drive reliability improvements through end-to-end RMA and repair processes, with strong lab and reporting skills expected.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in hardware failure analysis or related QA for complex systems.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency for data pipelines and dashboards.
• Experience analyzing logs and diagnostics to isolate hardware defects.
• Experience managing large failure ticket queues and tracking to closure.
• Knowledge of ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP) and BOM genealogy.

Responsabilidades

• Lead hardware failure analysis across electrical, optical, mechanical, and firmware domains.
• Analyze diagnostic data, isolate root causes, and document findings.
• Maintain and organize failure tickets, track status to closure, and report trends.
• Collaborate with suppliers/contract manufacturers to standardize repair dispositions and RMA processes.
