ChargePoint in Campbell, CA is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Hardware Engineering to lead planning and execution of engineering activities for EV charging hardware products.

You will coordinate milestones, drive design and manufacturing questions, manage budgets, and collaborate with system program management, product management, operations, reliability and regulatory teams to ensure on-time delivery and full alignment with requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4-8 years’ experience leading complex hardware technology projects with aggressive schedules.
• Experience leading the introduction of new technologies with a proven understanding of product development lifecycles.
• Ability to quickly pick up new technologies and industry trends.
• Outstanding critical thinking and passion for conquering what may seem to be impossible.
• Excellent leadership and social skills.
• Strong experience as a project manager of a large and complex project and have a broad knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with appropriate experience as well as knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
• EPMs must understand the wider objectives of the program, such as business and strategic goals.
• Must have an ability to work with a wide range of individuals.
• Fluency in using Confluence and JIRA.
• Demonstrate skills to manage cross-functional teams by leading core teams, technical teams, and contract manufacturers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to influence without authority).
• Problem-solving skills in design and manufacturing aspects of the product.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning and execution of hardware engineering activities.
• Coordinate milestones, development builds, and change requests.
• Support cross-functional teams including system program management, product management, operations, engineering, reliability and regulatory to ensure timely, compliant deliverables.
• Plan overall program schedule with key dependencies and gain cross-functional agreement.
• Manage risks and issues across the program life cycle and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Communicate program status regularly to stakeholders.
