Zusammenfassung

EVgo is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to own hardware design and lead development of major controller and PCB designs for EV charging systems. You will collaborate with systems, software and firmware teams to define interfaces, validate prototypes, and ensure manufacturing readiness.

You will mentor engineers, drive DFMEA, and contribute to design standards across the Electrical Engineering team, while working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifikationen

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with 6–8 years of related experience.
• Strong hardware design background across analog, digital and mixed-signal interfaces.
• Experience with high-voltage power electronics and EV charging systems is a plus.

• Own hardware design and lead development of major controller and PCB designs for EVgo charging systems.
• Define electrical interfaces between subsystems such as power cabinets and dispensers.
• Lead prototype design validation and bring designs to manufacturing readiness.
• Collaborate with systems, software and firmware teams to create requirements and DFMEA.
• Mentor junior engineers and share design standards across the team.
