Alcatraz AI is seeking a Staff or Principal Hardware Product Manager to own the strategy and execution for our hardware portfolio, including multi-modal devices and outdoor/government modules. You will write engineering-ready PRDs and lead programs across hardware, firmware, ML, and software teams.

This senior IC role requires shaping the roadmap through EVT/DVT/PVT and mass production, partnering with Hardware Eng, Platform, and Product Marketing.

• Own product strategy and multi-year roadmap for Alcatraz's hardware portfolio.
• Write and maintain detailed PRDs with scope, leads, rationale, and requirements.
• Partner with Hardware Eng, Industrial Design, ML/Face Pipeline, and Platform teams through EVT–PVT and mass production.
• Define roadmap and requirements for mobile credentials (NFC, BLE, PKI-based issuance).
• Own government credentialing and enterprise-grade use cases (PIV, root-of-trust, FIPS 140-3).
• Translate customer discovery and market sizing into MRDs to justify new hardware programs.
