Job summary
Perry Weather is seeking a Senior Hardware Product Manager to own the roadmap, lifecycle, and development process for our connected weather, sensing, and alerting devices. You will work cross-functionally across hardware engineering, software, manufacturing, and field teams to translate customer needs into reliable hardware products.
This role requires a strong NPI discipline, hands-on ownership from concept to production, and a bias for shipping robust devices that perform in real-world weather
Qualifications
- 7+ years in hardware product management or related roles.
- Experience building, launching, or scaling connected hardware products.
- Strong cross-functional leadership across hardware, software, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap, lifecycle, and product strategy for connected hardware portfolio.
- Build and operate an end-to-end NPI process from concept to launch.
- Define clear requirements and drive prototyping before engineering starts.
- Lead cross-functional hardware development across engineering, manufacturing, and field teams.
- Drive validation and field testing to ensure reliability and manufacturability.
- Own hardware fleet health and lifecycle management using field data and RMAs.
