Actalent is seeking a Hardware Engineer Electrical / PCB Design to design, test, and optimize PCB solutions for residential and power products. You will work with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver robust analog, digital, RF, and mixed-signal designs in a modern, connected IoT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required; a Masters degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience collaborating on technical teams focused on developing electrical hardware.
• Hands-on experience with circuit capture and PCB design tools, such as OrCAD.
• Experience with electronic circuit board modeling and simulation techniques, such as PSpice.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to new product design and sustaining activities for analog, digital, RF, and mixed-signal designs in residential power systems.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams to execute development tasks and board-level validation.
• Conduct hardware functional, environmental, and lifecycle validation to verify reliability, performance, and long-term robustness.
• Support product safety, EMC, and environmental compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in electrical hardware design reviews and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues during development and testing, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Document electrical system designs, implementations, and test results.
• Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and DMMs to analyze and verify operation.
