Actalent is seeking a Hardware Engineer to design, test, and validate board-level hardware for advanced networking and microprocessor-based products. Qualifications

• 3+ years of hardware design experience, with 5+ years preferred.
• PCB-based systems design using schematic capture and layout tools.
• Experience with microprocessor-based systems and high-speed networking hardware protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage hardware projects through concept to production release.
• Develop conceptual designs, implement hardware solutions, run simulations, and document results.
• Test and debug prototypes using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and lab equipment.
• Perform detailed signal analysis of digital/analog circuits and protocol analysis of digital circuits.
• Collaborate with product management to meet Product Requirements and cost targets.
• Ensure conformance with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
• Support compliance testing (UL, CSA, TUV, FCC) and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain accurate BoMs for production release.
• Coordinate with PCB designers and mechanical engineers for integrated design.
