Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Hardware Engineer to support the LE2 program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). You will design, procure, assemble, test, and verify automated test systems, working with project partners and customers on FBM initiatives.

The role requires experience in electrical hardware design and testing, the ability to travel up to 25%, and the plan to obtain/maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance. A strong leadership and collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Hardware development experience.
• Experience with interconnect design.
• Experience leading projects teams and development efforts.
• Experience in one or more of the following: Creo, Windchill, Zuken, Pspice.
• Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement).
• Issue Tracking experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of automated test systems, including data review and trending.
• Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
• Interface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions.
• Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
• Support Failure Review Board activities through closure.
• Ability to travel and work at alternate work sites as required, less than 25%.
