Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Florida is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join the EGSE team near the Cape Canaveral facility. You will work full-time in the office with a 9x80 schedule, located near the Lockheed Martin Space facility, and no relocation assistance is offered.

You will support FBM LE refresh and design update projects for Electrical Ground Support Equipment, collaborating with project partners and customers to define the future for FBM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline from an accredited College or University.
• Hardware development experience.
• Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement).
• Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for electrical and electromechanical test systems.
• Mentor Junior engineers, interface extensively with customers, as well as senior leadership.
• Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements.
• Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of automated test systems, including data review and troubleshooting.
• Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
