Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment for the FBM program. The role involves developing requirements, ensuring system integration, and performing analyses across the lifecycle from concept through disposal.

You will work with design, manufacturing, facilities, and program management to deliver reliable, affordable solutions and will lead a team of systems engineers on key tasks and risk management activities.

Qualifications

• Experience creating systems engineering requirements documents in Jira, Cameo, or DOORS.
• Experience developing CONOPS, RVTM, and ICDs.
• Experience coordinating with test teams for requirements development and verification.
• Mechanical engineering background with knowledge of drawings and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering tasking for mechanical ground support equipment requirements, design and testing.
• Provide technical leadership and plan projects within a systems engineering team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (design, manufacturing, facilities, program management) for project execution.
• Identify and mitigate risks, drive process improvements and standardization for efficiency.
