Job summary

Everpure is seeking an experienced hardware engineer in Santa Clara to join the engineering team building high-performance storage products. You will lead hardware design, validate subsystems, and collaborate with software, operations, and manufacturing to ship reliable solutions.

Requires 8+ years in x86 storage hardware, BS in EE/CE (MS preferred), strong scripting, and PCIe/NVMe knowledge. Base salary ranges from $180,000 to $270,000 with potential equity; on-site work with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in x86 architecture and storage hardware development.
• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (MS preferred).
• Deep know-how of PCIe, UPI, SAS/SATA, I2C/I3C/SPI interfaces.
• Experience with high-speed Ethernet and signal integrity testing.
• Automation/scripting in Python/Bash for hardware tests.
• Familiarity with Verilog/CPLD and hardware diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, implement, and debug hardware design and qualification from concept to production.
• Participate in all product development phases including architecture and FA.
• Define and automate hardware validation to improve test coverage and robustness.
• Collaborate with Software, Operations, Manufacturing Test, and Support to deploy subsystems.
• Serve as escalation point for testbeds and complex hardware issues; perform root-cause analysis.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and pioneer hardening techniques.
