Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Development to own software integration and validation on simulation and emulation platforms for next-generation robotics. You will lead cross-functional teams, set test strategy and roadmaps, and partner with robotics and simulation teams from concept through production deployment.

You will shape the architecture for testability and automation, guide hardware/software integration, and ensure safety and performance metrics are measured and published.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development and embedded systems.
• Experience leading multiple programs and teams in Agile environments.
• Ability to partner with product and program management teams.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Architectural Vision for Software Validation.
• Adversary Testing & Platform Integration: Interface with platform team for robustness.
• Setting HIL test beds and continuous validation. Building CICD pipelines.
• Virtualized Dynamic Environments for Field Testability and rapid iteration.
• Safety Qualification through Simulation and validation of autonomous behaviors.
