Job summary

ABA Centers in San Juan, PR seeks a High-Acuity Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support clinicians and clinic teams in assessment and treatment of complex behavioral presentations. The role emphasizes advanced clinical consultation, mentorship, and maintaining a limited clinical caseload.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field and an active BCBA credential, with 5–7 years of ABA experience. Spanish preferred but not required; relocation to PR or residency there is expected.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Active BCBA credential is required.
• Minimum 5–7 years of clinical ABA experience, including complex or severe behavior.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex case consultation for BCBAs handling severe behavior and comorbidities.
• Assist in designing and interpreting functional assessments and analyses.
• Support development of treatment plans for clients with complex needs.
• Collaborate with Complex Care team and division leadership to identify cases needing expertise.
• Offer advanced guidance on functional assessment procedures and interpretation.
• Mentor clinicians and model advanced assessment and treatment approaches.
• Maintain a small clinical caseload to stay actively engaged in practice.
• Demonstrate best practices in assessment and treatment for complex presentations.
