Job summary

Caliber Smart is seeking a Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer in Cleveland, OH for an on-site contract role. You will design, develop, and customize PolicyCenter applications, with hands-on work across Gosu, PCF, data models, rules, and integrations with external systems.

You will collaborate with business analysts, QA, and architects in an Agile environment, delivering enhancements and upgrades, including Guidewire Cloud Platform migration guidance and production support.

Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on Guidewire development experience.
Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and Gosu.
Experience with PCF / Page Configuration and data models.
Experience with REST and SOAP APIs and Guidewire integrations.
Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance; Commercial Lines preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, customize, and enhance Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.
Develop PCF/Page Configuration components and user interfaces.
Develop Gosu-based business logic, rules, and workflows.
Work with PolicyCenter data models and configurations.
Develop and support integrations between PolicyCenter and external systems.
Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
Integrate PolicyCenter with billing, claims, rating engines, and other platforms.
Assist with Guidewire Cloud Platform upgrades and migrations.
Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and provide production support.
Collaborate with BAs, QA, architects, and stakeholders.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver sprint stories.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer with strong hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter, Gosu, PCF, business rules, workflows, data models, and system integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) or Commercial Lines insurance and experience developing, customizing, and supporting PolicyCenter applications. Experience with the Guidewire Cloud Platform and cloud migration/upgrades is highly preferred.
