Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Lead Developer

Experience Level: Senior (10+ Years)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Guidewire Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain our highly configured, on-premise instance of Guidewire PolicyCenter (Version 10).

The ideal candidate has a deep, foundational understanding of the Guidewire data model and entity relationships. You will play a key role in managing complex data structures, optimizing system performance, and supporting our commercial insurance lines.

Key Responsibilities

• System Development: Core development and configuration within a heavily customized, on-premise Guidewire PolicyCenter v10 environment.
• Data Architecture: Design and manage complex data structures, ensuring deep knowledge of Guidewire data models and entity relationships.
• Product Modeling: Configure and maintain Commercial Insurance Product Models, including lines of business, coverages, and modifiers.
• Transaction Management: Oversee and troubleshoot complex policy transactions such as submissions, renewals, policy changes, and cancellations.
• Rating & Integration: Support and enhance complex commercial rating engines and system integrations.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development and configuration.
• Version Expertise: Proven experience working with Guidewire Version 10.
• Environment: Direct experience managing and deploying to on-premise environments.
• Data Model Mastery: In-depth knowledge of the Guidewire data model, including how entities link, extend, and perform under heavy configuration.
• Insurance Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Commercial Insurance Product Model, commercial rating, and core policy life cycle transactions.
