Job summary

MSRcosmos LLC is seeking a senior PolicyCenter/Guidewire specialist to lead development, configuration, and integrations for P&C insurance projects.

You will guide Gosu development, review designs, and coordinate with business units and offshore teams to ensure scalable solutions and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter experience.
• Strong Guidewire Configuration and/or Integration experience.
• At least one complete end-to-end PolicyCenter implementation.
• Experience with PolicyCenter APIs, rules, processes, and integration patterns.
• Experience leading or mentoring Guidewire development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead PolicyCenter development and configuration for P&C insurance implementations.
• Provide technical guidance to Guidewire developers on PolicyCenter configuration, Gosu development, integrations, and troubleshooting.

• Review code and technical designs and ensure development follows Guidewire standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with integration teams and third-party application owners to ensure successful end-to-end integrations.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead PolicyCenter development and configuration for P&C insurance implementations.
• Provide technical guidance to Guidewire developers on PolicyCenter configuration, Gosu development, integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Work with business and architecture teams to understand requirements, assess technical feasibility, and provide scalable solutions.
• Hands-on involvement in PolicyCenter development, enhancements, integrations, and release activities.
• Coordinate with onsite/offshore teams for production issues, defect resolution, and technical deliverables.
• Provide technical support for PolicyCenter production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Review code and technical designs and ensure development follows Guidewire standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with integration teams and third-party application owners to ensure successful end-to-end integrations.

Technical Skills:

• Strong Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation and integration experience.
• Experience with PolicyCenter product model, policy transactions, underwriting, rating, and policy administration.
• Hands-on experience with Gosu, Guidewire configuration, rules, workflows, and data model extensions.
• Experience designing and developing integrations using REST, SOAP, XML/JSON, APIs, and Guidewire Integration Framework.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases and troubleshooting application issues.
• Experience with PolicyCenter upgrades, deployment, release management, and production support.
• Good understanding of Java and enterprise application development.

Must Have Skills:

• Overall 9+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire Configuration and/or Integration.
• At least one complete end-to-end PolicyCenter implementation.
• Experience with PolicyCenter APIs, rules, processes, and integration patterns.
• Experience leading or mentoring Guidewire development teams.

Good to have:

• Experience with Guidewire Cloud.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and CI/CD.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, or similar development tools.
• Experience working directly with clients and distributed onsite/offshore teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
