Job summary

Signature Aviation in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking a Ground Support Equipment technician to inspect, service, and repair GSE. You will diagnose issues with test equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety standards are met. A valid driver’s license, own tools, and ability to pass background checks are required.

GSE experience is preferred and ASE certification is a plus. Pay ranges from $30.89 to $38.61 per hour, with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 1 year experience or equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have own tools and a valid driver’s license.
• Background checks and drug tests required; airport badge may be needed.
• Prior GSE or heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Certification from a vocational school or apprenticeship is a plus.
• ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain ground support equipment (GSE).
• Troubleshoot, repair and overhaul GSE as needed.
• Service with fuel, water, oil and hydraulic fluids.
• Diagnose with test equipment and manuals; document issues.
• Build and assemble mechanical components per requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Keep logs and complete GSE paperwork.
