Signature Aviation in Englewood, CO seeks a GSE Mechanic to inspect, maintain and repair ground support equipment used in operations. You will diagnose issues with test equipment and manuals, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safe, reliable equipment for aircraft handling.

Strong tool skills and adherence to safety guidelines are essential. The role requires an HS diploma or GED, legal work authorization, driver’s license, and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus one year experience or equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment and able to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and be insurable by company policies.
• Prior GSE or heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Must have your own tools.
• Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plus.
• Valid ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain ground support equipment used in operations.
• Troubleshoot, repair and/or overhaul ground support equipment.
• Check and service ground support equipment with fuel, water, oil and hydraulic fluid.
• Diagnose problems using test equipment and manuals.
• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
• Inspect machines, engines, transmissions and run diagnostic tests to find issues.
• Conduct repairs for maximum reliability.
• Perform maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems.
• Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components.
• Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery.
• Provide consultation on proper maintenance and preventative measures to users.
• Keep logs of work and report issues.
• Completion of GSE paperwork as required.
