Job summary

OpenGov’s mission is to empower public sector software that drives better outcomes. We are seeking a Sr. Marketing Operations Manager who will lead marketing strategy, planning, and measurement across Growth Marketing, Creative, and Communications.

You will own the marketing tech roadmap, partner with business systems and IT, and translate data into decisions that guide pipeline and investment. A technologist at heart, you will scale metrics and drive efficiency in a SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in marketing operations (or 5+ years with a Master's degree) in a SaaS business.
• Experience leading growth or demand generation operations.
• Proven record evaluating, implementing, and evolving marketing technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operating strategy and roadmap for Marketing with focus on Growth Marketing.
• Own the marketing technology roadmap and define requirements, priorities, and success measures.
• Scout and evaluate new marketing technologies, build business cases, drive adoption and change management.
• Design and improve the demand lifecycle from lead scoring to handoff to increase pipeline conversion.
• Partner with Revenue Operations to define standards and SLAs for lead follow-up and pipeline generation.
• Define reporting and attribution framework for Growth Marketing funnel performance and content impact.
• Establish planning, intake, and workflow processes connecting Growth Marketing, Creative, and Communications.
• Forecast and track marketing budget with FP&A for quarterly and annual plans.
• Set data strategy and standards for marketing data quality and segmentation.
• Mentor team members and lead cross-functional initiatives to scale Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Comfortable using AI-native tools to accelerate workflows.
