This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned healthcare growth professional to expand a national network of independent primary care practices and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). You will play a pivotal role in building strategic provider partnerships and helping physicians transition toward value-based care models that prioritize patient outcomes while controlling healthcare costs. As a senior individual contributor, you will own growth initiatives across an assigned territory, from prospecting and relationship development to negotiations, agreement execution, and onboarding. Working at the intersection of healthcare innovation, business development, and provider engagement, you will serve as a trusted advisor to physicians navigating the shift to risk-based care. You will collaborate closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure new partnerships are positioned for long-term success. This remote opportunity offers significant earning potential, territory ownership, and the chance to contribute to a more sustainable, outcomes-driven healthcare system.

Accountabilities
  • Build and develop strategic partnerships with independent primary care practices and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) across the assigned territory.
  • Identify, engage, and cultivate prospective physician partners to establish a robust pipeline of qualified growth opportunities.
  • Lead consultative discussions with physicians and practice leaders, clearly communicating the benefits, requirements, and operational implications of participating in value-based care programs.
  • Manage the full provider acquisition lifecycle, from initial outreach and relationship building through negotiations, agreement structuring, and closing.
  • Develop tailored partnership strategies that address provider needs, organizational objectives, and opportunities to improve patient outcomes while reducing total costs of care.
  • Guide newly signed practices through onboarding and early-stage partnership development, helping establish a strong foundation for successful participation.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and other internal teams to facilitate smooth transitions, address provider needs, and support long‑term partner success.
  • Monitor territory opportunities, manage sales activities, and maintain a consistent pipeline to achieve provider network expansion objectives.
  • Build trusted, long‑term relationships with physicians and practice stakeholders, serving as a strategic partner throughout the value-based care journey.
  • Represent the organization in provider meetings and territory-based engagements, with regular travel to prospective and existing partners.
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in healthcare sales, provider partnerships, business development, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in value-based care sales, provider growth, or healthcare network development is required.
  • Demonstrated success building relationships with primary care physicians, independent medical practices, or organized provider groups.
  • Strong understanding of value-based care models, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Medicare programs, and risk-based healthcare arrangements.
  • Proven consultative selling and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex healthcare concepts and demonstrate value to physician stakeholders.
  • Experience managing a business development pipeline and progressing opportunities from initial engagement through agreement execution and onboarding.
  • Excellent relationship‑building, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish credibility with physicians and healthcare leaders.
  • A commercially driven and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently, manage a territory, and deliver results in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, including the ability to balance prospecting, negotiations, provider engagement, and internal collaboration.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly, approximately 40–60% of the time, across the assigned U.S. territory.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary: $170,000–$200,000 annually.
  • High earning potential: Total on‑target earnings (OTE) of approximately $320,000–$450,000 or more, combining base salary and performance‑based compensation.
