Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related field with 7+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Fully Insured, Level Funded and ASO funding models.
• Strong underwriting, rate development and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Propose rates for prospective group business using incumbents, demographics and data.
• Own all underwriting pieces of large/complex RFPs including rate templates.
• Escalate within authority, perform post-sale reviews and produce management reports.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate account reporting.
• Prepare benefit changes and plan alternatives; assist in procedures.
• Mentor underwriting associates and lead process improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales and engage in broker discussions as needed.
