Job summary

Boston Marriott Newton, a Pyramid Global Hospitality property, seeks a Sales Manager to drive group sales in assigned markets. Responsibilities include personal visits, calling on companies, booking meetings, and site inspections.

You will maintain relationships with corporate and association planners, attend trade shows, respond to inquiries, and work toward monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Make personal visits to target markets and call on companies and associations.
• Book meetings, conferences, and social events; set up site inspections.
• Dedicate time to direct telephone sales and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain relationships with corporate and association planners; attend trade shows.
• Forecast, track and close accounts to meet monthly/quarterly/annual targets.
