Job summary

The Sr. Accountant, Group Reporting & Inventory at Finish Line supports monthly group reporting, inventory accounting, and close processes across designated business units.

You will partner with Inventory Control and Accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting, timely submissions, and effective controls. The role emphasizes collaboration with JD Group, Finance leadership, and business partners to resolve issues, enhance processes, and deliver reliable financial information leveraging Workday

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 4–6 years of corporate or public accounting experience may be substituted.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly group reporting packages to the JD Group for PAX and FCC.
• Serve as primary point of contact for JD Group reporting submissions.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations and related journal entries.
• Partner with Inventory Control to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of inventory activity.
• Support month-end close activities and identify process improvement opportunities.
