Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in automotive distribution/sales planning, strong analytical skills, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate and preferably a bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Ten+ years of experience in distribution/sales planning and analysis in automotive industry or related field.
• Three+ years of supervisory experience desired.
• Excellent microeconomic and analytical skills; ability to use data to view the automotive market and consumer landscape.
• Knowledge of automotive pricing and incentives approaches and strategies.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to influence executives and cross-functional partners.
• Proven track record presenting complex analyses in clear formats to executives.

WORK MODEL

What You Will Do

• Develop annual incentives strategy for HMA. Design and implement consumer and dealer incentives to maximize sales volume and HMA profitability.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Lead the design and implementation of monthly incentive programs, gathering input and feedback from the regional sales offices, National Sales, Finance, Marketing and other departments, to build consensus and drive the approval process among HMA executive management.
• Develop quantitative incentive program analyses, leveraging a wide range of demand sensing inputs (e.g. PIN, Compete, Quick Quotes) and incorporating HMA sales performance and objectives to guide HMA executive decision-making.
• Develop incentive effectiveness analysis to determine the impact of program and investment changes on sales volume.
• Manage the incentives team to ensure smooth operation of analytical and incentive processing activities and reporting to HMA executive management.
• Continue to strive for improving the efficiency of the Incentive functions at HMA, looking for opportunities to automate current processes.
• Approve employee’s time off, approve weekly incentives payment, sign Purchase Requests and Accounting documents, submit budgets, override and approve incentives adjustments.

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Must be a high school graduate.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Master’s degree a plus.
• Ten or more years of experience of which at least eight years of directly related experience in distribution and or sales planning and analysis in the automotive industry or related experience.
• Three or more years of supervisory experience desired.
• Excellent microeconomic and analytical skills - use both quantitative and qualitative data to create a broad, dynamic view of the automotive industry and consumer.
• Effective knowledge of automotive pricing and incentives approaches and strategies.
• Experience managing, leading and mentoring teams to work well under pressure and complete tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to influence a wide range of management levels, both inside and outside of HMA.
• Proven track record presenting complex analyses in straightforward, digestible formats using both oral and visual methods to influence executive decision-making.

What Hyundai Can Offer You

• Compensation Range: $149,800 - $214,000 annual base salary
• Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
• Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
