Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks a Maintenance Manager 5 (MM5) for TA-55 to lead Maintenance and Site Services. You will report to MSS Division Leaders and manage a team to deliver safe, reliable facility operation and production support.

You will drive maintenance planning, safety compliance, and program execution while coordinating with multi‑disciplinary groups. You should bring extensive experience in facility management, DOE maintenance standards, and leadership, with a background in

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of facility management, design and maintenance, safety basis, and work control processes.
• Expert understanding of DOE maintenance standards and hazard assessment practices.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities with experience in union and non-union environments.
• Familiarity with LANL work control, scheduling, and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable facility operation and production readiness.
• Coordinate maintenance with production schedules and outages to maximize windowed work.
• Develop and implement predictive maintenance and asset management strategies.
• Engage with cross‑functional groups to drive program execution and fiscal stewardship.
