Job summary

Kelly Science and Clinical is partnering with a leading agrochemical producer to recruit a Group Leader of Analytical Sciences in Commerce, CA. The role leads a small team and drives analytical strategy, GLP/GMP compliance, and data integrity across the product lifecycle.

The candidate will oversee method development, regulatory submissions, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring scientific rigor and advanced analytical capabilities within the organization.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry preferred)
• 8+ years in analytical sciences
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of GLP/GMP/ISO standards
• Experience with regulatory submissions (EPA, OECD)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and mentorship for scientists
• Evaluate and implement analytical technologies and automation
• Oversee data packages for global regulatory submissions
• Translate analytical findings into strategic business recommendations
• Lead analytical support for Quality Control labs
• Oversee method development and validation of complex analyses
