Job summary

Catalent is hiring a Senior Scientist, Analytical Development, Manager in San Diego, CA. You will lead projects and/or manage a team developing analytical methods for small molecules and peptides, using HPLC/UPLC and related techniques, ensuring compliance and scientific accuracy.

Role requires hands‑on leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and clear communication of results. This onsite position offers a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities to advance within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a physical, chemical, biological, or pharmaceutical science.
• Master’s degree preferred with relevant analytical development experience.
• Leadership experience in a pharmaceutical analytics environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop stability‑indicating methods for peptide and small molecule API and drug products from scratch.
• Develop cleaning verification methods.
• Perform and train others on analytical techniques including HPLC/UPLC, UV/Vis, GC, DSC, TGA, PSD, PXRD, SEM.
