Job summary

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is seeking a PRN Group Fitness Instructor to lead group exercise classes, ensure a safe and engaging environment, and maintain equipment before and after sessions. The role emphasizes customer-focused service and collaboration within a World Class team.

Required credentials include a Group Fitness Instructor certification (GFI) or ACE-GFI, CPR, and First Aid CPR AED, with a High School Diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• The interpersonal skills necessary to interact with participants in a personable, enthusiastic manner. [Required]
• The creativity to choreograph strength and cardiovascular training techniques that are fun. [Required]
• A commitment to provide World Class customer service and work collaboratively on a World Class team. [Required]

Responsibilities

• Maintains active certification in a recognized certifying organization.
• Maintains a friendly and safe environment during classes.
• Ensures the group exercise room is well maintained and adequately equipped before and after each class, including microphones, sound, projector, and any additional audio/visual equipment.
• Reports needed repairs immediately to ensure member and guest satisfaction.
• Instructs group exercise classes with clear and concise instructions, ensuring participants can easily follow along.
