Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is seeking a PRN Group Fitness Instructor to lead community fitness classes and promote safe, engaging sessions for participants.

Responsibilities include preparing lessons, supervising class safety, delivering compassionate customer service, and coordinating with the Group Fitness Manager to report incidents and ensure coverage when teammates are unavailable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1+ years experience teaching group fitness is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid and a recognized group fitness credential are required or listed as options.

• Supervises participants for safety during all phases of the class.
• Greets members and staff with exemplary service and empathy.
• Reports incidents or injuries using proper forms to the Group Fitness Manager.
• Ensures appropriate coverage of classes when illness, injury, or vacation occurs.

Job Description:

• Provides quality classes by preparing lessons in advance and offering classes in accordance with organizational policies.
• Supervises each participant for safety during all phases of the class and professionally corrects participants as necessary.
• Greets members and staff with exemplary service and empathy.
• Reports all incidences or injuries using the proper forms and submits them to the Group Fitness Manager, following up as required.
• Ensures appropriate coverage of classes in the case of illness, injury, or vacation.

Shift: PRN/ As needed to teach group fitness classes. Typically, once a week or more.
