Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging, safe group classes and motivate members to achieve their goals. You will design workouts suitable for all levels, provide modifications, and monitor form for safety.

Maintain energy and a professional presence while fostering a welcoming gym culture. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, CPR/AED certification, and recognized group fitness credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Experience teaching group exercise to varied fitness levels.
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, programming, and technique.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage groups in a dynamic fitness environment.
• Customer service orientation and commitment to member experience.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of group fitness classes in a safe, effective, and motivating manner.
• Design and deliver engaging workouts for participants of varying fitness levels and abilities.
• Provide instruction, modifications, and progressions to ensure safety and success.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and monitor participants for safe movement patterns.
• Maintain high energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism throughout all classes.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment and build positive relationships with participants.
