Job summary

Associated Insurance and Risk Management Advisors in Illinois seeks a Senior Account Manager to oversee group employee benefit programs and client relations. You will collaborate with producers and P&C teams to deliver comprehensive benefits packages, manage open enrollment, and ensure client satisfaction with robust benefit strategies.

The role requires a life/health license and 7+ years of large-group benefits experience, including both funded and self-funded plans.

Qualifications

• Illinois Life and Health license required.
• 7+ years of Large Group Benefit experience (50+ lives).
• Experience with fully funded and self-funded plans.
• Senior Account Management experience in Group Benefits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee group employee benefit programs (health, dental, vision, retirement).
• Collaborate with internal teams to align benefit strategies with client goals and budgets.
• Prepare and present benefit plan options, proposals, and renewals.
• Coordinate open enrollment, employee education and enrollment assistance.
• Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, claims, eligibility.
• Maintain client records and documentation in the agency system.
• Work on benefit enrollment platforms for open enrollment.
