Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of progressive groundskeeping or horticulture experience.
• Strong irrigation systems, landscape equipment operation, and basic carpentry.
• Practical knowledge of horticulture practices and landscape enhancements.
• Ability to lead by example; mentoring others preferred.
• High school diploma required; additional horticulture training a plus.
• Irrigation and pesticide applicator licenses valued; valid driver''s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced grounds and horticultural maintenance, including planting, pruning, irrigation troubleshooting, and landscape care.
• Maintain and enhance planting beds, turf, and landscapes while upholding aesthetic standards.
• Monitor plant health, diagnose issues, and apply pest management and seasonal care.
• Lead and support grounds operations, ensuring safety and efficiency in work areas.
• Repair outdoor structures (fencing, gates, pergolas, decking, signage) with carpentry and vendor coordination.
• Provide guidance and informal training to junior team members.
