Canyon Ranch Austin is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to join the founding team. You will maintain outdoor spaces, operate equipment, and ensure pristine landscapes across a luxury wellness destination.

The role emphasizes safety, guest experience, and adherence to Canyon Ranch standards. With 1–2 years in outdoor maintenance, you’ll thrive in a collaborative, hospitality-focused environment and support seasonal enhancements, irrigation, and routine property upkeep at our Texas Hill Country

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of general outdoor maintenance experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and with flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance outdoor grounds, landscaping and green spaces.
• Perform routine groundskeeping: mowing, edging, trimming, pruning and weeding.
• Maintain irrigation systems and plant material health.
• Plant, cultivate and care for trees, shrubs and flowers.
• Keep walkways and landscaped areas clean and inviting.
• Identify drainage issues, pests, and damaged plants; address concerns.
• Operate landscaping equipment and perform general outdoor maintenance.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

• Maintain and enhance the property's outdoor grounds, landscaping, gardens, and green spaces to uphold the resort's luxury standards.
• Perform routine groundskeeping, including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding, and seasonal plant care.
• Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and the health of landscaping throughout the property.
• Plant, cultivate, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape features, including seasonal enhancements.
• Maintain outdoor walkways, patios, driveways, and landscaped areas to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and an inviting appearance.
• Identify and address landscaping concerns, including drainage issues, pest infestations, and damaged or declining plant material.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring proper care and functionality.
• Perform general outdoor maintenance, including minor repairs, painting, pressure washing, and other property upkeep tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• 1–2 years of general outdoor maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of Canyon Ranch standards of excellence, with the ability to deliver high-quality work and exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills; able to work independently, under pressure, with flexible schedules, and in compliance with safety regulations.
