Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams on multiple ground-up construction and renovation projects for enterprise and services clients. You will manage projects from initiation through completion, coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.

The role demands hands-on leadership in budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and client communication.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of project management experience covering all aspects of design and ground-up construction.
• Proven experience in scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations.
• Familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture/fixtures/equipment specifications, design and space-planning concepts, costs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on management and oversight of multiple ground-up construction projects.
• Concurrently manage various phases of projects (initiation, design, planning, client approval, permit issuance, construction, closeout).
• Full accountability for end-to-end project management.
• Lead entire project team including architects, engineers, contractors, property management, operating engineers, and client stakeholders.
• Provide weekly project activity updates to the Team Lead on schedule, risks, budget status and cash flow using JLL technology.
• Develop risk management plans and guide teams through work-authorization processes to prevent incidents in critical environments.
• Participate in or lead client decision-making by presenting data, recommendations, and risk outlines.
• Oversee and prepare accurate documentation for all construction phases (charter, due diligence, budgets, schedules, minutes, funding requests, status reports, punch lists, special reports).
• Manage vendors to ensure policy compliance and close out all projects in less than 90 days after completion.
