Job summary

Northrop Grumman - Launch Vehicles Division is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead Ground Test IPT activities in Chandler, AZ. The role oversees cross-disciplinary teams and interfaces with U.S.

and international partners to plan, design, and execute ground test campaigns for hypersonic and missile systems. The ideal candidate has DoD systems engineering experience, strong leadership, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience, Master’s with 10 years, or Ph.D. with 8 years.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active US Government Secret Security Clearance required.
• Ability to obtain SAP.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements.
• Experience as IPT Lead or Technical lead in a program office or business function.

Responsibilities

• Lead Ground Test IPT team and coordinate cross-functional engineering.
• Collaborate with Engineering, PM, Software, Hardware, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance groups.
• Interface with U.S. and international partners for ground test programs.
• Drive test and support equipment design across multiple disciplines.
• Manage risks, schedules, and costs to deliver test campaigns.
