Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Aurora, CO, seeks a Ground Senior Ops Training Engineer - Level 4 to lead, design and develop training products for mission operators. You will collaborate with SMEs, engineers and designers to deliver on-time, high-quality training for ground systems and satellite operations.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance, extensive experience in instructional design, and strong program-management skills.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance; SCI eligibility required at time of application.
8 years of relevant experience with a STEM degree; 6 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD.
Experience in developing training material using Instructional System Design or similar.
On-Console Command and Control Satellite Operations experience.
Strong presentation skills in front of an audience with Space Vehicle material.
Ground System anomaly troubleshooting and resolution experience.
Familiarity with Agile development processes.
Project management and scheduling experience.
Knowledge of Space Vehicle Health and Safety and satellite simulator operations.

Responsibilities

Lead, design, and develop training products for mission operators.
Collaborate with SMEs and technology experts to execute the system engineering statement of work.
Work with stakeholders, designers, and engineers to deliver quality products and features.
Drive product strategy and roadmap; ensure on-time delivery and successful results.
Manage product backlog and user story elaboration; coordinate with the Operations & Training team.
