Job summary

Gridsight is a rapidly growing Grid/CleanTech startup delivering a vertical SaaS platform for electricity utilities. As a Principal Power Engineering Consultant, you will hybridize technical consulting with solution delivery, guiding utility customers in deploying and optimizing our platform.

You will lead advanced power engineering work, support customer training, and own end-to-end onboarding, while collaborating with product and engineering to enhance features and data workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in power systems engineering, distribution planning, or related utilities/energy tech.
• Hands-on experience with power system modeling tools (PowerFactory, CYME, PSS/E) and cloud-based SaaS (AWS, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Serve as in-house SME on power distribution systems and advise customer teams on Gridsight-powered workflows.
• Develop training and user guides; provide platform technical support and resolve escalations.
• Lead end-to-end technical onboarding for new utility customers and customize workflows and integrations.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to refine features and advise on data management and analytics.
• Represent Gridsight in industry events and customer engagements to showcase solutions.
