Job summary

envelio Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to own end-to-end customer implementations of the Intelligent Grid Platform. You will advise on grid planning, DER use cases, and utility operations, guiding customers from onboarding to successful deployment and ongoing adoption.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, lead workshops, and translate customer needs into product requirements. Midwest-based with travel to conferences and Boston office opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years in managing complex projects or programs, customer-facing or cross-functional environments.
• Strong technical expertise in power systems, grid planning, and utility operations.

Responsibilities

• Own customer implementation projects end-to-end, serving as the primary contact through onboarding, deployment, and ongoing success.
• Configure, validate, and optimize the Intelligent Grid Platform using customer data and models for grid planning and DER use cases.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor on grid planning, utility operations, interconnection workflows, and best practices.
• Lead customer workshops and stakeholder discussions to define requirements and drive outcomes.
• Enable rapid customer adoption by integrating IGP into planning and operations.
• Translate customer needs and market insights into actionable product requirements and roadmap input.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to deliver high-quality solutions and maximize value.
• Mentor and support junior team members and contribute to team growth.
• Support go-to-market efforts through demos, presentations, RFP responses, and events.
