Job summary

You will build and validate modeling tools in Python, C#, and Java, contribute to data exchange interfaces, and support the upgrade of MOD-based applications.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining software in Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with power system simulators such as PowerWorld, PSS/E, or ASPEN One-liner.
• Experience with transmission system protection and short-circuit analysis.
• Experience with transmission planning and data exchange workflows.

Responsibilities

• Planning model development for ERCOT planning models.
• Develops steady state and geomagnetic disturbance models using MOD and PSS/E.
• Develops short circuit models with ASPEN One-liner.
• Coordinates data submissions, validates data, and resolves modeling issues.
