Job summary

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable EMS/CIM solutions and optimization models using tools like CPLEX/AMPL.

You will work with Docker and Kubernetes to deliver containerized microservices, build cloud-native data pipelines, and support critical ERCOT-related operations with AI/ML

Qualifications

• Experience designing and testing grid applications and interfaces.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools.
• Knowledge of grid optimization methods (SCOPF/SCUC) and EMS/CIM data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy grid applications and interfaces across Windows and Linux.
• Work with internal stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design and implement containerized microservices and cloud-native data pipelines.
• Develop optimization models using solvers like CPLEX and AMPL.
• Provide 24x7 Level 2 production support and resolve critical incidents.
