Job summary

Mariana Minerals is seeking a Sr. Site Development Engineer to lead end-to-end greenfield site development for mining and metallurgical facilities.

You will drive feasibility, design earthwork, drainage, and utilities, and coordinate across engineering, construction, and project delivery teams to ensure scalable, constructible sites. The role demands 10+ years in site development, a Civil Engineering background (PE preferred), and hands-on experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in site development/civil engineering for industrial/mining infrastructure.
• PE license or able to obtain within 6 months (preferred).
• Experience delivering greenfield capital projects from concept to construction.
• Strong coordination with civil, structural, process, mechanical, and electrical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize site layouts including grading, drainage, stormwater, roads, and utilities.
• Lead early-stage site selection, feasibility, and due diligence with geotechnical considerations.
• Design and review earthwork plans, cut/fill balancing, and mass grading to reduce cost.
• Coordinate site infrastructure (roads, drainage, utilities) with external partners.
• Manage external engineering firms, consultants, and contractors for civil scopes.
• Oversee IFC packages for site civil works and constructability reviews.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to ensure integrated site design.
• Review 3D models and design packages (Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks).
• Support cost estimation and scheduling for site development scopes.
• Assist permitting and regulatory approvals (grading, stormwater).
• Provide field engineering support during construction to resolve issues.
• Develop standards and workflows for scalable site development across projects.
