Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Senior Security Consultant – GRC for its cybersecurity advisory practice. This client-facing role requires translating complex security and regulatory requirements into business-ready outcomes.

You will lead engagements, mentor consultants, and help grow the practice with a strong governance and risk focus. The position is remote with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management, and requires travel up to 10% for SHI, partners, and customers events.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, risk management, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in governance, risk, compliance.
• Experience in cybersecurity advisory or internal audit in a client-facing professional services environment preferred.
• Experience with cybersecurity services providers, consulting firms, advisory practices, or professional services organizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor on GRC, cybersecurity governance, and security program maturity.
• Lead client-facing consulting engagements independently with high-quality outcomes.
• Conduct governance, risk, compliance assessments aligned to frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate risk assessments and tabletop exercises for enterprise, cyber, third-party, and incident response.
• Develop governance models, security frameworks, data governance blueprints, policies, standards, SOPs.
• Support internal audit readiness, compliance reporting, evidence validation, and remediation planning.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify client needs and solutions.
• Contribute to practice growth by improving methodologies and mentoring others.
