Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Senior Security Consultant – GRC to join its cybersecurity advisory practice.

This client-facing, hands-on role leads engagements, translates security and regulatory requirements into practical business outcomes, and mentors others in governance, risk, and compliance. You will develop governance models, security frameworks, and data governance blueprints while collaborating with sales, project managers, and technical teams to drive successful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, risk management, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of governance, risk, compliance experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity advisory or internal audit in a professional services environment.
• Travel up to 10% to SHI, partners, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor on GRC, cybersecurity governance, and program maturity.
• Lead client-facing consulting engagements independently with high-quality outcomes.
• Conduct governance, risk, compliance, and control assessments aligned to frameworks.
• Facilitate risk assessments and tabletop exercises for various scenarios.
• Develop governance models, frameworks, policies, and operating procedures.
• Support internal audit readiness, compliance reporting, and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify client needs and solutions.
• Mentor consultants and contribute to practice growth and methodologies.
