Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Senior Security Consultant – GRC to join its cybersecurity advisory practice. This client-facing role requires translating security and regulatory requirements into practical business outcomes and leading engagements end-to-end.

You will develop governance models, security frameworks, and program maturity, while mentoring other consultants and contributing to practice growth. This is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in cybersecurity, information systems, risk management, business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of governance, risk, and compliance experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity advisory or internal audit in a client-facing professional services environment is highly preferred.
• Experience working for a cybersecurity services provider, consulting firm, or advisory practice.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on GRC, cybersecurity governance, and security program maturity.
• Lead and deliver client-facing consulting engagements independently with high-quality outcomes.
• Conduct security assessments across governance, risk, compliance, and control effectiveness.
• Facilitate risk assessments and tabletop exercises for enterprise, cyber, third-party, and incident scenarios.
• Develop governance models, security frameworks, data governance blueprints, policies, and procedures.
• Support clients with internal audit readiness, compliance reporting, evidence validation, remediation planning, and issue tracking.
• Collaborate with sales, technical teams, and peer practice leaders to identify client needs and drive successful delivery.
• Contribute to practice growth by improving methodologies and mentoring other consultants.
