Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Senior Security Consultant - GRC for its growing cybersecurity advisory practice. This remote, full-time role requires leading engagements, translating security and regulatory requirements into practical outcomes, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

The candidate will develop governance models, deliver high-quality consulting, mentor others, and stay current on industry trends while collaborating with Sales, Project Managers, and Account Executives.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, risk management, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of governance, risk, compliance experience required.
• Experience in cybersecurity advisory or internal audit in a client-facing professional services environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor on GRC, cybersecurity governance, and security program maturity.
• Lead and deliver client-facing consulting engagements independently with high-quality outcomes.
• Conduct security assessments across governance, risk, compliance, and control effectiveness.
• Facilitate risk assessments and tabletop exercises for various stakeholders.
• Develop governance models, security frameworks, and operating procedures.
• Support clients with internal audit readiness, compliance reporting, and remediation planning.
• Collaborate with sales, technical teams, and peers to identify client needs and solutions.
• Mentor other consultants and contribute to practice growth.
