Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Senior Security Consultant - GRC to join its cybersecurity advisory practice.

This client-facing role requires translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, business-aligned outcomes and leading engagements with a strategic, hands-on approach. You will develop governance models, deliver high-quality consulting services, mentor peers, and collaborate across Sales, Project Managers, and technical teams to ensure successful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, risk management, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in governance, risk, compliance required.
• Experience in cybersecurity advisory or internal audit in a client-facing professional services environment preferred.
• Travel up to 10% to SHI, Partner, and Customer events.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor on GRC, cybersecurity governance, and program maturity.
• Lead and deliver client-facing engagements independently with high-quality outcomes.
• Conduct governance, risk, compliance, and control assessments aligned to industry standards.
• Facilitate risk assessments and tabletop exercises for technical and executive stakeholders.
• Develop governance models, security frameworks, data governance blueprints, policies, and procedures.
• Support internal audit readiness, compliance reporting, evidence validation, remediation planning, and issue tracking.
• Collaborate with sales, technical teams, and practice leaders to identify client needs and solutions.
• Contribute to practice growth by refining methodologies and mentoring others.
