Job summary

Weaver is seeking a senior associate or supervisor to join the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. The role focuses on IT controls, SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations, and regulatory compliance guidance.

The ideal candidate has 4–6+ years in public accounting, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, and familiarity with SSAE, GAAP, and IIA standards. You will lead engagements and collaborate with a high‑performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MIS, CS, or related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Familiarity with SSAE standards, SOC guides, GAAP, and IIA standards.
• Understanding of SOC Reporting guidance and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 and IT role in compliance.
• Understanding of IT general controls, applications, system infrastructure, network layer and security configurations.
• Experience supervising Associates and Senior Associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the execution of engagements (SOC1 and SOC2) within assigned areas.
• Supervise Associates and Senior Associates on engagements.
• Communicate effectively and manage multiple assignments of varying sizes and complexity.
