Weaver is seeking a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Associate or Senior Associate to join the Asset Management Consulting team. You will work on internal audit and SOX-related engagements for asset managers and investment companies, managing 1–6 projects while supporting compliance programs and regulatory filings.

The role emphasizes proactive learning, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with client teams on monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in audit, consulting, or investment management industry.
• Familiarity with GAAP, GAAS, COSO, Internal Audit Standards, and Sarbanes Oxley Act requirements.
• SOX experience with large financial services, investment companies, and asset managers.

Responsabilités

• Support day-to-day project management of 1–6 concurrent engagements.
• Execute SOX-related audit procedures and ongoing monitoring activities.
• Assist in compliance program implementation and regulatory filing support.
• Communicate findings and status with client personnel.
